December Release Projects
December 15, 2011
I'm here this morning to share the rest of my December Papertrey release projects. In case you didn't see the note on Nichole's blog, the schedule has changed starting this month. All of the new release items will be available for purchase beginning at 10 pm EST on the 15th instead of at the stroke of midnight on the 15th. This gives you an extra day to mull over your purchases. The DT is posting all of their remaining projects on their blogs at 7:00 am EST on the 15th so you can peruse the projects and finialize your shopping list.
So let's get on to the projects, shall we? I have a total of six more projects, so sit back and relax! :-)
First up is a card using the new Made of Snow Mini set and coordinating dies. I combined them with Button Boutique and the coordinating Button Card die.
I thought it would be fun to have a couple of those cute little snowmen popping out from behind the button card.
Next is a card using Flower Fusion #11...I'm so excited to have a tulip!
I stamped the large leaf/stem image from Rosie Posie in the background, then stamped a bouquet of tulips over the top. I finished it off with a bow made from HIbiscus twill and a diecut bow from Bells & Boughs die collection.
Continuing with the series, this next card uses Tag-its #11. I used the large circular heart image to create a background pattern.
I finished it off with a Half & Half diecut, a Doily Details die and a heart from Heart Prints backed with some lace and a charm dangling from the point.
Next is a more rustic card using the new Lock & Key set. I used Walnut Stain distress inks stamped in different strengths (I stamped off some of them) to create a background design.
For the focal point, I layered from Fancy Pants and Tim Holtz metal pieces as well as a heart which I cut using the Heart Prints dies.
Next is bold and bright little number using the new Tree Tops and coordinating dies. I paired it with Love Lives Here for a fun valentine card, which if done up in a different color scheme could make a great house warming or even a wedding card.
I diecut the trees from Poppy cardstock and stamped them with Versamark, then embossed with white powder. The effect is very fun and striking! I finished it off with some layered borders using the two new border dies coming out this month.
Lastly, I have a project using the new Little Princess set. I used the Wine Bottle Tag die to create a wrap for some bubble bath. I really wanted to find some of the bubble bath that comes in the wine bottle, but none of the stores in town had it and I didn't have time to run to the next town over, but I thought that would've been really cute!
I stamped the adorable castle, then coated it with glitter, so it's really sparkly in real life.
I used the new Loopsy Daisy die to create the flower, which is actually attached to a hairclip so the little princess can take it off the wrap and wear it. My daughters are already fighting over it. :-)
