Papertrey Stamp-a-Faire

Gooooood morning! The Papertrey gang is all together, hanging out in Cincinnati for the first ever Stamp-a-Faire! I'm excited to share a project with you today that uses the Stamp-a-Faire exclusive stamp set!
The set is called Iconic Images and it is SO fun. And the really good news about this set? You don't have to be attending Stamp-a-Faire in Cinci to get your hands on it! Everyone that places an order at Papertery Ink between 9 am EST on Saturday July 23rd through 11:59 pm EST on July 24 totalling $100 or more will receive this set for free! I love the look of this set and truly, there are so many different things you could do with it. It can go rustic or elegant and I can see it being really pretty for holiday cards as well.
For my card today I created a pretty backgroud by stamping a few of the medallions in the set.
I then stamped one of the sentiments from the set, along with the bird image using VersaMark, then embossed it with white embossing powder.
One other fun thing to note is the embossed doily. I used the Parsisian Lace Doily die with my embossing mats underneath to create the embossed design in the corners. I really like the way that turned out and I'll definitely have to use that idea in the future!
