In love with roses...

What a gorgeous, gorgeous day we're having here.  The last few days have been HOT...much hotter than it should be for the beginning of June, but today the heat is gone and the air is refreshing.  Even though it's been hot during the day, the evenings have been beautiful and we've been enjoying sitting out on our deck in the peace and quiet of the dark.  So relaxing after these busy summer days!

I just have another card to share with you tonight.  This one uses the same rose stamp as last night's card, this time with a bit more color.  I seem to have a things for roses lately...LOVE them!  I've been playing around with a fun inking technique which I will be making a video of soon!  It's really fun and I can't wait to show you!  

 

Using up more of those fun Maya Road Sew Cute chipboard shapes too....love them so much!  I also wanted to point out how I layered the stamped background.  I stamped the roses first, then stamped over the entire thing with the pretty Sweet Threads Antique Background by Hero Arts.
