Kelly, I just sent you an e-mail, so be on the lookout for it!

How about a Father's Day project today?  I had some time last night to play around with some new Jenni Bowlin stamps I got the other day.  It's an adorable set of two award ribbons...I'm sensing a trend around here, aren't you?  These sorts of ribbons seem to be popping up everywhere.

Just a few details on how I created the ribbon embellishment.  I Stamped the ribbon onto text patterned paper and also onto blue paper.  I cut them out and layered them, snipping between the lines on the top ribbon and bending/fluffing to add dimension.  I also added some strips of canvas for added texture.  Then there's the center..I used a wooden button which I inked with Tea Dye Distress ink, then stamped with Walnut Stain Distresss ink and a woodgrain stamp. I then stamped the "1" onto cream cardstock, punched it with a 1/2" circle punch and adhered it to the inside of the button, then filled it with glossy accents.

Most of the supplies I used here can be found in the Father's Day section over at Ellen Hutson's....WHICH, like I mentioned the other day, just happen to be 20% off when you use the code dadsday.   Everything is linked in the supply thumbnails below.
