Paper Crafts Magazine Presents: 350 Cards and Gifts Blog Hop!

If you've been following the Paper Crafts Connection blog and Moxie Fab World, you know that we've been celebrating all week!  Celebrating what you may ask?  Well, the latest special issue to hit newsstands....350 Cards and Gifts.  This issue is PACKED with cool ideas for card sets, gifts, home decor, food wraps and more!  If you're having trouble finding it at your local stores, you can always pick it up online HERE

This issue was so fun to work on...sometimes I get stuck in a card rut (lazy...I know!) and this issue was just the ticket for getting me out of that rut and into creating some other things!  I especially loved the decor pieces in this issue...so classy and definitely something I would want to display in my home!

AND, besides all of the great content within the pages of this mag, there's also a whole lot of bonus content...like the 21 downloadable templates found HERE!  Way cool.  Editor Kelly Smith asked 12 designers to create a brand-new, never-seen-before project using one of these templates.

I used a simple and easy box template designed by Vanessa Menhorn...her original project is on page 150 of this issue and held a pretty bookmark.  I chose to use the box to create a fun shadowbox decor piece.

I used a label die to diecut the window in the box top, then filled it with a dressed-up dressform and fun trinkets.  It would make a fun gift for a friend to tuck away on a shelf in their craft room!

Now for the really fun part of this post!  Listen up, 'cuz there are prizes involved!

First, hop around to all of the designers participating in the hop...each designer (including me!) is giving away a copy of 350 Cards and Gifts, so be sure to leave them each a comment!

Then, stop by the Paper Crafts Connection blog to see what's going on there (ahem...prize...ahem) and leave a comment.

All comments, here, there and everywhere must be left by midnight MDT on Sunday, April 10.

Enjoy!
