It's all a little sketchy...

Happy Saturday!  Did you all manage to get in on the submitting and acceptance/rejection party for the next issue of Go-to Sketches from Paper Crafts?  We had a little party going on over on their Facebook page yesterday.  With over 2750 cards submitted, there were lots of us with unloved (or maybe better labeled as underappreciated??) cards.  Amber has started a blog hop if you'd like to share a card or two that didn't make the cut!

Here's one of mine, based on sketch #9. 

 

I used a bunch of different cream/kraft patterned paper scraps to create a patchwork background.  Then I stamped a cute stitching stamp from Inky Antics over the edges of the scraps...I love the way it turned out looking like an antique quilt!  A fun way to use
some scraps. 

The cute floral stamp behind the sentiment is from Stampin' Up! and the sentiment is form Papertrey's Beyond Basic Borders.  The canvas tag is 7 Gypsies..
