Wedding Day Revisited...

Happy March!  March is here and that means spring is on the way...it just has to be!

Today is the 1st, which means it's Papertrey Senior Team challenge day.  Nichole challenged us to use another golden-oldie, Wedding Day.  This set is full of great basics that could be used for so many different occasions besides weddings!

Let's start off with a wedding card.  The large oval frame from this set is so perfect for filling with all sorts of things.  For this first card I filled it with the large rose from Year of Flowers: Roses.

I stamped the oval frame first with VersaMark, then masked off the frame and stamped with rose and leaves.  I also then masked off the inside of the oval and stamped the square/diamond element from the set at the top and bottom of the oval to create a more embellished looking frame.  I then embossed everything with white embossing powder.

This set is also filled with some great background-building images.  Up next is a thank you card with a more masculine feel.  I used the square element along with one of the border elements to build a background.

Many-Thanks

This time I filled th oval frame with the 3 tree image from Through the Trees.  I embossed some Rustic Cream cardstock witht the woodgrain impression plate for some added texture.
