Simple Sentiments...
December 08, 2010
Hey there...I know, this blog is sleepy.... I'm trying my best to keep up with the holiday hustle-bustle and three kids that have parties, programs, practice, and all the rest. I've got a whole pile of sewing projects I'm hoping to get done before Christmas...I know, call me crazy. But, the party is about to start around here, with the December Papertrey release right around the corner. I'll have lots of projects to show and share over the next week. Then it's party time for me and my sewing machine. :-)
But first, I wanted to pop in today to a. let you know I'm still alive, and b. to show you a brand new gallery challenge that Paper Crafts Magazine is holding.
Have you ever noticed waaaayy at the end of each issue is a page called Simple Sentiments? And did you know that these sentiments are online? And that you can print them to make some super cute, super simple cards? And did you know they are free? Seriously, what could be better.
Starting with the Simple Sentiments from the brand new Jan/Feb 2011 issue (downloadable HERE), there will be a gallery for you to share the cards you create using the Simple Sentiments. To kick off the party, all of the Go-to Gal, along with 2 editors, each created a card using one of the Simple Sentiments.
Here is the adorable image I decided to use.
And just to tease you, here is a pic of the inside of the card I created using this sentiment...you'll have to pop on over to the Simple Sentiment Gallery to check out the front.
ETA: For those of you that e-mailed that you couldn't see the cards in the Flicker gallery, you need to log in to your Flicker/Yahoo account and then join the Simple Sentiments group. HTH!
So, go get yourself some sentiments and make some fun cards!! :-)
Now...I'm off, but not for long. promise. I'll be back tomorrow night to kick off the Papertrey December release...soooo many fun things you're not going to want to miss. See you then.
