December 13, 2010
The Papertrey team is back with a second group post for this month's release! Today we are featuring the new 2010 Love Tags set...the next in the lineup of this popular series. I just love these sets...they are some of my favorite images...there are so many uses and each one is just FUN!
Nichole challenged each of us to use one of the tags from 2010 Love Tags on a quick Valentine packaging. I created a treat container using the new Favor It #3 die...
I used some papers from October Afternoon's Modern Homemaker line...I know, it's not especially valentine-y, but I think it's so fun! The colors just make me happy...
I layered the adorable heart flower tag over a Limitless Layers doily circle. The inside of the image is stamped on patterned paper and then cut using the new scallop circle die from the Love Lives Here collection...it fits just perfectly inside the outer frame. I love that! I'm sure there are several other tags from the tag series that this die will work with as well!
Nichole also challenged the team to create a non-valentine card using this set. I used the same heart flower tag to create a baby card....
I layered some American Crafts felt alphabet Thickers over four stamped tags. A pretty bow in the middle is layered over a heart cut with the new Heart Prints die and a tiny tag stamped with a sentiment from Mega Mixed Messages.
Once again...don't miss out on the other DT blogs to see more from the new 2010 Love Tags set (available on the 15th of December from Papertrey Ink!)
