Peace and Good Cheer...

Peace-and-Cheer-dtl

Hello friends.  The colder weather has landed here and we have spent this week bundling up against a ferocious fall wind and even some flakes of snow.  Shhh...don't tell anybody, but I kind of like it.  It's a good excuse to stay inside, stay warm, and cook up some comfort food.

I have a card for you along with some fun news!

First up, the card.  This card was made using Papertrey's new Holiday Sparkle set along with some of the new dies...the Limitless Layers doily circle and the Victorian Lace border die.  I layered lots of goodies over some new Distressed Dots patterned paper...chipboard stars, buttons, a flower and some silk ribbon.

And now for a bit of news.  I've started putting some new kits together called Cricut Kits.  They are geared towards getting you to use your Cricut machines!  These kits will be available from A Walk Down Memory Lane, the store where I teach Cricut classes.  During class, I often hear from people that they would love to use their machines more, but when they sit down to use them they feel a bit lost.  So, I'm hoping to get you all to blow the dust off those machines and put them to use!

My first kit is a holiday card kit.  It will have all of the supplies and instructions to complete 10 cards.  For this kit, you will need to have access to the Joys of the Season cartridge.  The instructions included in the kits will be very detailed, telling you exactly which images to cut, the size...right down to which buttons you need to push.  So, even if you are a beginner, you should have no trouble completing the projects.  The kits are compatible with both the Expression or the original (small) Cricut.

Here is just a little peek of the first kit!  They should hopefully be ready to ship early next week...but I'll be sure to post a note here when they are.

If this idea is something you're interested it, let me know what themes or types of projects you would like to see in the future!  I'm open to doing all sorts of things from cards, to layouts, projects, etc...let me know your thoughts!
