Hello there! Welcome to the October Papertrey countdown's group post (day one!!!! *wink*)! Today the team is showcasing the new Tiny Treats: Christmas set with loads of quick and easy (not to mention thrifty)...gift ideas for friends, neighbors, co-workers, you name it! This stamp set will be available for purchase from Papertrey Ink on the 15th of October.
The images in this set are so adorable, with so many uses! I chose to use the cutie-pie mitten image along with the "warm wishes" sentiment to create a fun and easy wrap for homemade cocoa and a chocolate-dipped spoon.
The wrap is a mitten pocket made from Papertrey's Fine Linen felt. The small glassine bag contains one serving of homemade cocoa mix. The spoon is a simple plastic spoon, dipped in melted chocolate, then wrapped in cellophane and topped off with a diecut felt snowflake and button. Once the recipient has enjoyed their delicious treat, the mitten can be used as an ornament or holiday decoration!
