It's group post day for the June Papertrey countdown! I have fallen in LOVE with the sets we are featuring today! The concept is so unique and when you combine all of the stamps and the dies, you will want to sit and create for days, just exploring all of the possibilities! So let's get started!
The one set features a jar (with a coordinating die) and lots of different toppers to go along with them (again, with matching dies), as well as an adorable label (and yup, you guessed it...a matching die) which you can customize with all sorts of words and sentiments. I am absolutely crazy about the font used on this set..if is so FUN! The companion set, Friendship Jar Fillers is full of....you guessed it....things to fill the jars with! They will both be available for purchase on June 15th on the Papertrey Ink website.
So, I chose to use the lemonade themed items from the set to create a homemade, fresh-squeezed lemonade cocentrate along with some yummy (and pretty!) fruity ice cubes! I made mine in a birthday theme ('cuz I needed a little birthday gift for my grandma!). She enjoys entertaining and loves to serve pretty things, so she will love this! The yummy gourmet lemonade recipe is from the Cheeky Kitchen...you should hop over to her blog and check out the yummy photos of her lemonade party!
Here is a close-up of the tag for the lemonade concentrate. All the stamps and dies are so fun to play around with and combine into a million different looks!
This is the tag for the ice jar. I used the raspberry image from Fruitful.
And then the card...this set doesn't have to be just for gift-giving! there are tons of ways to incorporate it into your cards as well! I combined some elements from a few different sets to create my sentiment. I was going for sort of a vintage signage sort of feel. So fun! You could also easily change this into a hostess gift by changing the sentiment. It would be a perfect little thank you for a backyard barbeque!
One more thing to note on the card...see that cute scallop border? The lemon slice from this set fits perfectly on the large scallop border die from Papertrey. I love it when happy things like that happen!
And here's just a shot of the drink all ready to enjoy. yum!
Now, be sure to hop around to all of the other design team members to check out the amazing things they've created with this set!
