All About You!

 
Hey there!  Sorry to be a little absent...we've had a lot going on here, including a bad bout of some sort of bug for one of my little sweeties that earned her a night's stay in the hospital.  Poor little thing...you never realize just how tiny they are until they're laying in a big ugly hospital bed.  We are definitely past the worst of it now though, and she's back to her little bubbly self today.  Thank goodness. 

BUT, I've got some fun things for you tonight!  Did you know that it's time for the countdown to the June Papertrey Ink release?  Tonight I get to help preview a new set called All About You, designed by Melissa Bickford and available to purchase at midnight on the 15th!  As if this set wasn't fun on its own, there's even a coordinating additions set to give you even more options.

This is a fun sentiment set, plus a whole lot more!  With the full set and the additions, you can achieve approximately one million different looks.  Wait til you see.  :-)

For my first project I stamped the large "YOU" repeatedly in different ink colors, then stamped some of the smaller sentiments in between for a card that's all about the message!

The little button/ribbon accents add a fun touch!  And the background cardstock?  yup.  Simply Chartreuse.  I think you'll be seeing it a lot.  I'm considering it my new favorite neutral....'cuz it goes with everything.

Next up is a totally different take on the set using both the full set, plus the bee image and the "make life..." sentiment from the Additions. 

And here is just a simple, classic looking card where I made my own background pattern using one of the large leaves in the set. 

I stamped the leaf with Scarlett Jewel ink onto Pure Poppy cardstock and I love the look...definitely need to do that again!

 Next is just a very simple card.  I used the new Moroccan Motifs Impression Plate for the background.  And for the focal point, I stamped the sentiment, then punched it out and stamped around it with the small leaf from the set.  The crisp Pure Poppy, Simple Chartreuse and white feels so summery! 

And lastly, another simple card using one of the leaf images along with a cluster of buttons to create a neat flower/berry image. The circles stamped along the bottom edge are also from the All About You set...there are just so many different bits and pieces with this set that make it so fun to play with! 
  

I used the reverse side of that new Moraccan Motifs Impression Plate on this card.  So fun!
