A day to take note...
Friday's challenge...

Thursday's challenge...

Howdy.  Ready for another diecutting challenge?  Cath over on the Moxie Fab World blog has kicked off her latest challenge.  And guess what?  It features some of my projects from the PC 101 column from the March/April issue of Paper Crafts.  The whole column was about different ways to use paper piecing.  If you visit me here on my blog, you know that I love to paper piece!  I issued a challenge a while back to do some paper piecing.  Well, here we go again.... :-)

Here is one of my cards from the PC 101 column.  It's my favorite from that section.

Baby-Patchwork-Card

To create that pretty patchwork "B", I simply used my Cricut to cut several of the same "B" from assorted patterned papers.  I left one completely intact to use as a base.  I cut the others apart randomly and adhered them to the base.  I then added stitching to give it that patchwork feel.  The flower is created in the same way.

So, here's my challenge to you for today!  Create a card using this technique.  You could use a shape that you cut with your Cricut or other electronic machine, or it can be from a manual diecutting machine...doesn't matter.

You can piece together a flower or letter like I did, or choose any other object or image...there are so many options with all of the dies and cartridges!  I'm sure you'll come up with something fun!

And if you're playing along with me, you might as well enter it over at the Moxie Fab World blog for Cath's challenge....two birds with one stone!  Sweet!

And remember, the deadline for all of these challenges will be Midnight on the Tuesday, March 30th.  Just leave a comment with a link to your project!  Have fun!
