....one of my favorite flowers. My grandma's name is Violet...and she is so dear to me. My daughter's middle name is Violet...after her. So pretty, isn't it? These flowers always remind me of two of my favorite people.
The Papertrey gang is playing along with the CPS gals today on a sketch challenge. Won't you play along too? Shhhh...don't tell anyone, but I think there might be a prize involved. Check out Nichole's blog for all of the details.
I went vintage with my card, using one of the new Papertrey sets, available on the 15th of February. I had fun layering the images and making the flower come to life. Maybe I need to do another flower tutorial...I know I still owe you one from last week's fluffy flower....as soon as I'm caught up. Promise.
I added some hand-cut felt leaves and that beautiful heart diecut from the new Love Struck Cricut cartridge....so intricate and pretty.
I also went for an off-the-wall color combo, but I love the fun, mixed up vintage feel it has. I'll need to remember that and use it again sometime.
