Flutter by, butterfly...
February 27, 2010
Hey everyone! Thank you so much for all of your sweet comments in the last week! I hope you all enjoyed the Stamp It! celebration...I know I sure did.
We had a beautiful Saturday here...the sun was actually shining and there was a tiny bit of melting and dripping. It was 25 degrees and people were out...walking, riding bikes and what not. Like it was a summer day....goes to show just how cruddy it's been when 25 feels good. hee.
I had a great afternoon of creating...my deadlines are all met (for the time being) and I felt like I could just play, play, play...the kids were busy with friends and the littlest bug took an unusually loooong nap. wooohoo!
I pulled out these large felt butterflies that I've had in my stash for probably a year and a half. They were a dollar store find...I had no idea what I was going to do with them, but loved them! Today I decided they needed to be used up. I was in the mood for spring and these just say spring to me. They were a perfect match for some of my new Making Memories Flutter papers.
These will be going up in my Etsy shop in a bit, along with some other things I've had here on the blog this week.
