Stampin' 3 ways with the Go-to Gals...

A Moxie Fab Blog Hop...

Cath is having a moxie fab celebration on the Moxie Fab blog this week...dedicated to stamping and the release of the latest issue of Stamp It! Cards!!  Isn't it pretty.....page after page filled with stampy inspiration.  Fun cards, cute cards, elegant cards, vintage-y cards...tips from the Go-to Gals....stamp it 3-ways and more!!!

Stamp it 2010

Cath has asked eleven of us that were published in the issue to play along with her on a blog hop....each of the 11 designers is featuring a brand-spankin'-new stampy card for your viewing pleasure.  And of course in true Moxie Fab style, there is a hum-dinger of a prize up for grabs.  Visit each designer's blog and leave a comment on their blog hop post....each comment ups your chances of winning the PRIZE (*cough*12-My-Cute-stamp-sets*cough*).  Comment on 11 blogs....have your name entered 11 times.  Easy peasy.  You have until midnight on Sunday the 28th.  And I'm sure you'll grab some stampy inspiration along the way!

Here are the other designers that are participating....

And here is my card...one technique I've been playing with alot lately is building my own floral embellishments using stamps.  I love to layer the images to create a one-of-a-kind element.  That's one of the great things about stamps!  I can create things in any color combo my heart desires!

I started off with this beautiful floral patterned paper from the new Jenni Bowlin Fresh Vintage collection....bright and vintage-y...just what I LOVE.  I then stamped the flower and leaves using this floral stamp set by Basic Grey.  I cut them out and distressed them...don't be afraid to roll them, sand them, ink and paint them...fluff them up and give them dimension!  I topped it off with a little Prima bloom.

I love this color combo of red, pink, yellow and green....so FRESH and springy...so NOT like out weather!  We need all the spring we can get around here...even if it means making our own!  :-) That pretty basket weave background is from Studio Calico.  The sentiment is Papertrey's Daily Designs Sentiments stamped on a Jenni Bowlin label with a bit of vintage trim.
