Trim the tree challenge...
Introducing Blooming Button Bits....

Counting sheep, sheep, sheep...

I've got a little ditty running through my head to watch my little ones in their school program last night.  It's always a treat.  My kids love to be a part of the program and thier little faces show it.  Julia was cute as a button and Jonathan was all business.  Our school has the best music teacher ever, and I think I need to make her a little treat today.

Well, our little family here has just about made it through one of our busiest weeks of the year....seems like to avoid the busy-ness of the holidays, everyone has the same theory...cram it all into the first week of December.  So, it's actually all down hill from here.  How about you?  How are your holiday plans and prep coming?

Just a little project to share with you today...not even Christmas-y...gasp!  We got to meet the newest little person in our family over Thanksgiving, so I of course had to bring him a little something.  Never pass up a chance to buy baby clothes.  That's my theory.

I used the Captured Card Case template to create the box.  It's one of my favorites because it is SO easy...and it's also easy to resize.  I needed mine a little bigger, so I just used a whole sheet of cardstock for the base and a whole sheet for the cover.  A little outfit tucks inside just perfectly.

The All Star Team set is perfect for baby boy cards.  I combined it with Star Prints for a fun sporty theme.  The shirst says "Property of Mom".  How cute is that?  See...never turn down a chance to go baby clothes shopping.

Stamps:  All Star Team, Star Prints
Ink:  Pure Poppy, Smokey Shadow
Cardstock:  Rustic Cream, Smokey Shadow, Pure Poppy
Patterned paper:  Cosmo Cricket Early Bird
Template:  Captured Card Case
Other:  Bazzill jumbo brad, Fiskars star punch, scallop scissors, star brads

I'd better get some things knocked off that list before the kids get home from school.  Today is "P" day...pajamas, pizza, pop, party, a certain someone was pleased as punch this morning, but after the busy week we've had, I'm predicting some pretty pooped out little people will be getting off that school bus!  Later!
