A hiking we shall go...
Hodge podge...

Dinner and a show....

We're trying our best to settle into a summer routine here. I have decided that much less gets accomplished when the weather is beautiful and there are sprinklers to run through, slides to slide on, dirt to dig in and bikes to pedal on.  But, the perks are worth it.  This morning I was treated to my own private performance, complete with snorkel kazoos, pencil drumsticks and Sesame Street songs, all performed atop a coffee table stage.  And then we all had lunch together.....one of my favorite things about having everyone home during the summer.  It was such a beautiful day here that we even broke out the sprinkler for the first time.  Katie LOVED it.  She ruled that sprinkler and was a complete water hog.  You should have heard her giggling....made me laugh hysterically.  That's pure joy right there folks...from the top of her pigtails, to the tip of her toes...pure joy.

Ok... enough rambling for me...and on to the real reason you stopped by.  :-)  I have a card for you tonight...a reminder to stop and smell the flowers.  That's about all we've accomplished here this week and it feels good, although I know reality is going to hit one of these days.
