Pretty poppies...

Very spring-like here today....a bit chilly, sunshiney and windy!  We had a nice, quiet weekend and are looking forward to a semi-quiet week.  I am looking forward to catching up on a few things, finishing up a few projects and maybe even creating some things for myself...just for fun!!  Haven't done that for a long while and I can tell I'm needing it.  :-)

Just sharing some fun and colorful cards today using the Pretty Poppies line from Autumm Leaves.  This line was designed by Kezia from Tinkering Ink.  I miss working with the folks at Tinkering Ink since they joined up with Autumn Leaves, so I was so thrilled when a box of goodies with Kezia's new line wound up on my doorstep.  :-) 

I love the black/red/green/yellow color scheme of this line and how you can add some solids to really change up the look.  For this first card I added some Aqua Mist PTI cardstock to soften the look a bit.

Next I mixed in a bit of pink for one of my all-time favorite color combos....pink and red.  I think it's my little rebellious side coming out...ever since the day I was a little girl and wanted to wear red shorts and a pink top and my mom said I couldn't because pink and red don't match!!!  :-D
