What's the scoop?
January 26, 2009
Well, I'm back from a wonderfully fun and refreshing weekend away. We had a blast! We didn't get to see the movie 'cuz we shopped too long, and we decided a soak in the hot tub sounded better. :-)
Thanks for all of your comments and tips about naptime....sounds like lots of you had the same issues around this age. I'm not giving up hope. I'm guessing it's a stage and soon she'll go through another stage where the naps will come easier. I hope. She's sleeping now after not too much crib jumping, so maybe we're making some progress. Or maybe it's just because she was up an hour earlier than normal this morning. :-)
Just a few more cards to share with you today....I have lots of new goodies to play with thanks to our little shopping extravaganza, so I'm going to keep it short so I can start playing!
First is a card using Papertrey's Love Songs set which was released in December. Lisa's ice cream cone is soooo cute. I just couldn't resist stacking those colorful scoops.
Stamps: PTI Polka Dot Basics, Love Songs, Simple Alphabet
Cardstock: PTI Kraft, Raspberry Fizz, Aqua Mist, Orange by Bazzill
Patterned Paper: Scenic Route
Ink: PTI Summer Sunrise, Raspberry Fizz, Plum Pudding, Aqua Mist, Fresh Snow, Green and orange are Stampin' Up!
Ribbon: PTI Plum Pudding Grosgrain
Cricut cartridge: Sans Serif ("scoop")
Cuttlebug Die: Tiny Tags
Next is a fun St. Patty's day card. I'm not usually one to celebrate the occasion, but it would be a fun excuse to send a colorful card to brighten a friend's day. I used PTI's Heart Prints stamps to create the clover and the "lucky" sentiment is from the Indi Art Cricut cart.
Stamps: PTI Heart Prints
Cardstock: Bazzill, PTI Stamper's Select White
Patterned paper: Pink Paislee (yellow), Dream Street (pink)
Cricut Cartridge: Indie Art
Other: Doodlebug brad, EK tiny flower punch
Ok...shutting down computer to go play with my new goodies. Catch ya later!
