It was a beautiful snowy afternoon here today and I grabbed the chance to hide out in my scrap room and create some cards. I've been busy with lots of different things and haven't had a lot of time to just enjoy creating, well I always enjoy creating, but sometimes it's fun to just create with any supplies my heart desires. I've been turning to my scrap bin, my favorite place for inspiration. You just never know which papers might happen to be lying together that look like they were meant to be together.
Here's a card I created using some of those scraps. The papers are Creative Imaginations and Making Memories, two of my very favorite companies. They both make such beautiful and classic things.
Cardstock: Papertrey Ink Kraft, Vintage Cream
Stamps: PTI Favor it Wedding
Ink: Pure Poppy
Patterned Paper: Creative Imaginations (red), Making Memories (blue)
Ribbon: PTI Pure Poppy Grosgrain
Diecut label: Cricut Storybook cartridge
Embossing folder: Cuttlebug Houndstooth
Other: Kaiser Craft gems, jute
Well, I'm off for some pizza pick-up on this cold snowy night and then hopefully a bit more creating once the kids are snoozing. 'night! :-)
