January Papertrey!
January 16, 2009
Slacker. I know. I should have had this up two days ago. I'm afraid this week is kicking my rear. Lots of things going on with life in general and in my paper world. I gave my first Cricut class last night at A Walk Down Memory Lane. It went really well and we had lots of fun. Hopefully they went home with a wealth of information and an itch to get creative with their Cricuts. :-)
So, here are my projects using the new January Papertrey Ink stamps. Another great month with awsome sets!! Can't wait to play with them more. :-)
First is Simply Stationery. Love, love, love this set. Makes creating beautiful, polished looking stationery.... well, simple. :-) I used Lauren's All Boxed Up template, using just the boxy envelope portion, glued four of them together to create a standing file box for my stamped paper, envelopes and notecards and a partitioned pocket to keep stamps, labels and a pen. I then made a flip-up lid and adhered the entire piece to a chipboard base and held everything closed with a band.
Next is Heather's new set called Around and About Sentiments. I'm estimating that there are approximately 1 million uses for this set. :-) Such a fun, fun, must-have basic.
And lastly is a fun card using the new Fresh Alphabet set. I love that Nichole includes numbers in many of her alphabet sets. So many other companies do not, and I find myself using them quite often! I used the set to create a 6th Birthday card. I used the new Around and About set on this one as well. I love the new black and white papers too! They add such a fun "pop" to any project.
Well, I gotta run. It's "k" day in preschool today and Julia is absolutely insisting that her little sister come for show and tell. Since she's her favorite "k" thing and all. So sweet and I'm happy to oblige. So, it's off to show and tell for us! :-) Have a GREAT weekend!
