Where ever the wind blows...
October 26, 2008
and today that wind might blow you half way across the country! Crazy, crazy windy here today. But, the sun was shining! Our power even went out about 15 minutes into church this morning because of the wind, so we had the rest of the service in the dark...it was kind of peaceful, actually. :-)
Well, golly...I have SO much to share with you this week. I feel like I've fallen a little behind on blogging, so I've got lots of projects sitting here, ready to blog about this week. I scrapped with friends waaaaay too late into the night on Friday, so I did actually complete a couple layouts and a handful of cards. I'm hopping to have a post every day this week, plus I have a little giveaway, so come visit often. :-)
Let's start off the week with yet another Christmas card. I'm having a ball with all of the beautiful new Papertrey Christmas sets. The little snowmen from Made of Snow are just the cutest. I made this snow guy hold a steamy cup from the 2008 Holiday Tags Collection....it fit perfectly in his hands.
Stamps: Made of Snow, 2008 Holiday Tags Collection, Merry and Bright
Cardstock: Spring Moss, Ripe Avocado, Aqua Mist, Pure Poppy, Kraft, Stamper's Select White
Ribbon: Aqua Mist Top Notch Twill
Ink: Dark Chocolate, Pure Poppy
Other: Marvy snowflake punch, 1/2" circle punch, scallop punch, glitter brad by Doodlebug, Twinkling H2O's
And lastly tonight...have you seen the new Card Creations Vol 6? Wow. Tons and tons of inspiration in this one!
Here is one card I had in this issue in the photo cards section. Lots of Tinkering Ink goodies here.
