that would be the word I would choose to describe today. Katie woke up with an ornery attitude and she went to bed with an ornery attitude and I'll let you fill in the blanks. heehe. To make a long story short we were pretty certain for a few hours that she had fried the Wii...she pulled the power strip out from behind the entertainment center and began flipping the switch. By the time I got across the room to stop her I heard a pretty foul noise coming from the little $300 machine. It wouldn't turn on for several hours after that....until my dear husband came home and worked his magic (ahem...pressed the power button). Why does that always happen?? Men! :-) Oh, and while I was trying to fix the Wii, Katie got a hold of Julia's ipod ear phones (yes, we have the ear phones, but still no ipod.....well, I mean we DID have the ear phones....) ugh. Life with a toddler is never dull...let's just put it that way. Love her to bits, and she's definitely doing her part to teach me patience, gentleness and self-control. But really....how can I stay mad at this?
And now, some paper goodies for you... I made some more coffee wraps, this time with a birthday theme. Same cup from last post, different steamy sentiment....love those - think they're so cute! I just brightened everything up and gave that cute little teacup some fun polka dots.

I'm off to bed. Keep your fingers crossed that a certain little someone wakes up a wee bit happier and a little less intent on destroying eveything in sight tomorrow morning. And don't forget that today is the last day to post a comment on my Gourmet Scrapping post. It looks like it's going to be a great book - don't miss your chance to snag a free copy! 'night!
