Did you hear that?...
A falling we shall go..

Spinning... (and a challenge!)

My head is spinning....I took the afternoon to do a little fall shopping for the kids and I don't know why, but it puts me in a tizzy!  This morning when I had to tell Jonathan to pull some jeans out of the dirty laundry basket (umm..yuck.) I knew it was time to do some fall shopping!  But I think everyone in the tri-state region had the same idea I did and the stores were swarming.  It was definitely nap time when I was in Target.  For every child in the store I believe.  But, I went prepared, with a list of everything I needed.  I seemed to have lots of bits and pieces of outfits for the girls, but needed lots of things to match this or that, so I made a list, and I did good.  Oh, and I discovered that I definitely have a thing for owls.  I think I got at least two owl shirts for each of the girls.  Darn, they're cute though!  :-)

Alright, I'll stop rambling and get on to scrappy things.  The September gallery is up over at Lime Tart!  Oh I love gallery time!  So many beautiful things to look at from the Design Team.  Be sure to check out all three gorgeous galleries.  Here are a few of my projects this month using the Full Tart.

First is a little album I made using the placecards from the kit.  I stacked 4 of them on top of eachother and stitched down the center to create a little book.  I then glued them inside a kraft box.  Makes for a neat album, all safe and sound inside it's own box.  These are photos of Julia on her big day as a flower girl....remember the dress?  :-)

And next is layout...a photo from the same day.  I couldn't resist, these photos were just perfect  for these papers!!!

And a little thank you card.  One of the many things I loved about this kit was those Making Memories letters.  They were so fun to add color to.  On the album above I watercolored them with Twinkling H2O's and on this card below I inked them with Chalk Ink.  So fun!

Out for pub-2

Betsy_HarvestBlessings1 And now for a little challenge... wanna play?  My challenge to you is based on this Harvest Blessings card which I made using the Websters Pages papers and the Making Memories chipboard letters from the kit...items you wouldn't at first associate with fall.  So, my challenge to you is to create something seasonal from a non-seasonal product.  Get those thinking caps on!  :-)  Link your creation to this post by midnight on Wednesday the 17th and I'll randomly choose a winner for a little gift certificate to Just Johanna's Odd Bird Planet Stamps (the US distributer for Lime Tart kits).
