Thankful for Grandmothers...
June 09, 2008
Do you have a special grandmother in your life? I sure hope you do. I have one and we celebrated her 82nd birthday today. I am so thankful for her in my life. She is the best grandma you could imagine. She lives just a few blocks from me, which makes it ever better. I get to have lunch with her nearly every Sunday, which I love. And tonight we even went grocery shopping toghether. :-) I think I've mentioned this before, but she is one of those people that I admire so much -- she is a wonderful example of the kind of person I would like to be.
I put together a little something for her birthday today, so I thought I'd share it with you. She loves pretty things, so I hope she will enjoy this little notebook and matching card. I used a patterned 4x10 acrylic tag by Pageframe Designs for the front and back covers. I just cut plain paper to size for the pages and bound it all with my Bind-it-All. Pretty much everything else is SEI, with a little Fancy Pants felt and some Jenni Bowlin rub-ons thrown in.
Well, that's all for tonight. I hope you've had a wonderful start to your week and if you have a special grandma in your life, give her a hug next time you see her. :-)
