The Day After....

A Christmas Project to share

Hi all!  Hope everyone is having a wonderful Christmas season and everyone is wrapping up the preparations.  I think it is time for Christmas to just be here.  I keep thinking I need one more thing, oh and I should make a special wrap for that and I should get a quick gift for so and so and blah, blah, blah! (my kids' favorite term lately!!) I need to quit!  :-)

Peace_joy_love_sign1 I just wanted to quickly share one project with you.  I made this for my Grandma for Christmas.  I found the wallhanging at the second hand store and it had a picture of a rooster.  So I rescued it.  Not that there's anything wrong with roosters.  :-)  I cut the house with my Cricut (it's from the Joys of the Season new favorite...SO many cute things on that cart!).  I cut several houses from assorted patterned papers, cut them all apart and pieced them back together again.  So, a few hours, a whole box of pop dots and a bottle of glitter later, here ya go.  Better than a rooster, in my Peace_joy_love_sign2 opinion at least.  :-)  I think my Grandma will love it.  It reminds me of her... soft and pretty and feminine.  She is one of the people in my life that I admire the most.  She has such grace and class.  I had fun making this for her and just wanted to share!  I hope to post a few more things before Christmas, so see you soon! :-)
