We're truckin' along through the September Papertrey Ink countdown! ;-)
I just have a couple of projects to share with you today using this month's Words to Live By set (the word this month is joyful!), this month's Corner Adorner (cute Christmas lights!!), and this month's Bold Borders die (gorgeous holiday greenery!).
So, a couple projects and then I gotta get back to my desk! I've got more creating to do (I'm kind of addicted to a few products yet to be shown, but I've got to step awaaaaay... :-) )
This first card uses the new Bold Borders: Yuletide along with the Words to Live By: Joyful stamps and die.
Underneath that is a panel of white cardstock, which I stamped with my new Text & Texture: Wood Slices using Soft Stone ink. I diecut "joyful" from Ripe Avocado cardstock three times and stacked them up to add a bit of dimension. I stamped the remainder of the sentiment with Saffron Spice ink.
My next card uses another sentiment from the WTLB: Joyful set, this time paired with this month's Corner Adorner set with the cute Christmas bulbs. I diecut the bulbs from black cardstock, then heat embossed the string portion with gold embossing powder. I stamped the bulbs with an Essential Glue pad, then brushed them with pigment powders in jewel tones.
That oval frame is also new! It's an oval version of Lizzie's amazing Pierced Feature Frames. I cut the largest one from black cardstock for the outer border, and from watercolor paper for the insert. The watercolor oval was painted with some Twinkling H2O's for lots of shimmer.
Kind of short and sweet today, but I'll be back tomorrow with a whole lot of fun stuff that I'm pretty excited about!
