How are you today? That's not just a question, it's the name of a new stamp set coming your way for the June Papertrey Ink release! I'll be using this new set today, along with this month's installment of my Words to Live By series, which features the word "laugh". We all need more laughter in our lives, don't you think?
You can see the full reveal of the products being featured today right HERE. They'll all be officially available for purchase on the Papertrey Ink website beginning at 10pm ET on June 15.
My first project for today uses the fun flowers from the How Are You Today set. They're modern and trendy, and super simple to layer and stamp.
The sentiment is from the new Words to Live By: Laugh set. I stamped this sentiment from the set with Smokey Shadow ink. I also added a strip of striped vellum along the edge of my card and cut the front panel using the Noted: Simply Stitched A2 Vertical die.
My next card uses the WTLB: Laugh set for a fun get well card. It would be perfect to pair with a funny movie to cheer up someone who's under the weather.
My next few cards use some of the other new products that have already been showcased the last couple of days -- Salt Air: Fauna and Flora, Sentiments, and Reef Builder dies. This first one is turtle-y awesome. :-)
My last card is a simple birthday card that is a simpler take on the Salt Air and Reef Builder products.
I started with a card base made from linen cardstock, and sponged a bit of Aqua Mist ink to the center. I diecut the large coral using the Reef Builder dies and sponged a little Versamark ink to the tips, and embossed them with gold embossing powder. I sponged the rest with Berry Sorbet ink.
I layered this over my card base, and also added a couple of the small fish from the Reef Builder die set, which were sponged with Aqua Mist ink. I added some gold splatters to the background using Gold Color Shine mist. Finally, I added a sentiment from the Salt Air: Sentiments set, embossed with gold embossing powder.
Thanks for stopping by today to check out my projects and the new goodies coming out for the June release! We'll see you back here tomorrow!
