Welcome to Day 2 of the April Papertrey Ink countdown! We have so much more to show you in the next few days. I'm also going to post my Glorious Globes project and more Geode projects since Typepad was not cooperating yesterday!
One of my new sets is being showcased today, and it's called Fence Line: Spring. The set contains a pretty two-step rustic fence along with some spring flowers and other elements to put around it. I had so much fun playing with this set!
The new Fence Line: Spring set, along with anything else I mention as new in today's post will be available for purchase beginning at 10pm ET on April 15th from Papertrey Ink.
I have lots of projects today! First up are a few using the new Fence Line set. This one combines it with the In the Woods cover plate and the In the Meadow hill dies.

Next I have a fun little notecard using just the mailbox from the Fence Line: Spring set. I stamped four of them and lined them up along the bottom of a new diecut - Shape Shifters: Square 1, which I layered over the Noted: Scalloped Square die.

My next card uses the Fence Line: Spring along with a new Noted die I have coming out called Noted: Simply Stitched A2 Vertical. You can use this new noted die to cut card bases by running it through your machine twice ( just like the Noted: Scalloped A2 Vertical die), or just a single time (trimming at the score line) for card fronts. Nested inside the Noted: Simply stitched die are stitched rectangles. Here I used the card base and the largest rectangle.
I layered the fence, boots, flowers, and bunny over my watercolored background. The fence was stamped with Classic Kraft and Cocoa Bean inks. The sentiment I used here is from the Quilted: Summer stamp set.

Next I have a few cards using the new products that were showcased yesterday. First up is a card using my new Geode Layers dies and Text & Texture: Agate stamp set. I thought these elements could also look like topography, so that was the effect I was going for on this first card. I started off with a panel of white cardstock, which I stamped with the T&T: Agate background stamp and heat embossed with white powder.
Then I diecut some of the smaller Geode Layers dies from this panel of cardstock. I nested concentric layers underneath, cut from shades of blue, to represent water on my topographical map, and stacked layers of neutral to mimic land.
I finished it off with the "adventure" word diecut from the Traveler's Journal die collection, and a compass from the new Glorious Globes: April set, and a few Glorious Globes sentiments stamped in the water rings. This was a fun one to get creative with!

My last project for today uses this month's Glorious Globes, paired with a few little elements from other new sets coming this month.
I paired this month's globes with the bases from the Basics set. I perched a little graduation cap on the smaller globe, which is from a new set you'll be seeing more of later in the countdown. The globes are layered over a Shape Shifters: Square 1 diecut.
The sentiment is from the new Sentiment Staples: Congratulations set, stamped onto a stitched banner from the Tag Sale: Quilted die set. The background is a Noted: Simply Stitched A2 base, cut from Dark Indigo and stamped with the new Text & Texture: Agate background using Fresh Snow ink. I love how that turned out! It looks a little topographical - perfect with the globes.

That wraps up today's projects using Day 2's new product introductions! I have so many more projects to share with you - I hope you'll stop back tomorrow!
