Good morning! Did you know that tomorrow is World Card Making Day? A holiday just for us! :-)
The nice people over at American Crafts asked if I would make a card for their World Card Making Day celebration using a few of their fun products. They sent me the Girl Squad collection from Pebbles, as well as the Frame Punch Board tool by We R Memory Keepers.
I put together this card using those products. The Frame Punch is really cool...so quick and easy to use. I cut three of the same size rectangles from three different papers, then used the Frame Punch to punch different size openings from each one. I did the same with six cardstock layers (two for each size frame).
I stacked them all up for a really fun dimensional frame. I sandwiched some diecuts between some of the layers, and used a tag with the "choose joy" sentiment behind the frame. I also added some of the dimensional stickers from the collection.
All of these frame layers gave me a rather thick stack, so for a fun touch, I used the fun striped washi tape from the collection around the edges.
I really enjoyed working with these fun products from We R Memory Keepers -- so nice of them to invite me to participate in their World Card Making Day celebration. I hope you have some fun things in the works this weekend for this holiday that's just for us!
