It's the last day of product reveals for the September Papertrey Ink countdown! I just thought I'd pop in with a few more projects featuring my Holiday Tag Along kit, with a few other goodies mixed in.
All of the new September products will go up in the store tomorrow - Friday, September 15th at 10pm ET.
My first project is a card I created with the Tag Along kit and the new Mix & Mat: Berry Boughs die set. I think it might be my favorite project of the release so far.
I started off by diecutting one of the printed tags from the kit. I cut the outer tag shape, then rotated the die 180 degrees and ran it through again to cut the tag top off of the top and create just a rounded-corner rectangle. I used the holly/greenery insert die to cut out the design on the tag as well.
Behind that is a Mix & Mat: Berry Boughs diecut, cut from Fresh Snow Linen cardstock. I colored the design around the outside with Copics to match the pre-printed tag. Behind that is a Linen card base, which I sponged with some Aqua Mist ink. I added some snowflake and regular sequins from the Tag Along kit.
Next up I have another set of tags using the Tag Along kit. These were all stenciled using the stencils from the kit.
I sponged ink over the stencils, then I also ran them through my diecut machine with the stencil and an embossing mat to give them a bit more texture. I diecut just the top portion of the tag from contrasting cardstock to give them a little more color.
Each tag was finished off with the to/from diecut, also from the kit, cut from Luxe Gold cardstock. I embellished each one with sequins from the kit for a little sparkle, and the matching twine from the kit was tied through the top of each.
