The Papertrey Ink team is continuing our post-release recap of all of the new September products! Today's featured sets are Berry Wreath and the Gift Card Cozy collection.
My first project uses the Berry Wreath set. I diecut and stamped three of them. I stamped the wreath with New Leaf ink, then colored it using my Zig Clean Color pens.
I stacked all three of the along the right side of my card base, and stamped the one-word sentiments from the set inside each one.
On the left side I put a strip of Holiday Plaid patterned paper. I added some twine and sequins to the wreaths to finish it off.
My next project uses the Gift Card Cozy die in combination with the dies from the Holiday Tag Along set to create some cute birthday pull-out tags. I diecut the Gift Card Cozy from white cardstock, and trimmed the flap off so it was more of a pocket. I used the insert dies from the Tag Along kit to cut the designs from the front.
The tag that slips inside the pocket was cut using the tag die from the Tag Along kit. I used the Gift Card Pinked Tabs die to cut a single tab near the top (just didn't run the die/tag all the way through my machine so that it would just cut the top tab). The tab slips over the pocket and I stamped a "pull here" sentiment from the Movers & Shakers set. The sentiments on the outside of the pockets were stamped using the Splat set, which goes perfectly with the Tag Along kit, giving you more sentiment options.
The pocket fronts were embellished with Sketched Stars diecuts and sequins. The tags were sponged with a rainbow of inks, then spritzed with water. I also stamped some Confetti Toss onto them and a sentiment from the Ombre Sentiments: Birthday set.
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your weekend!
