I have a couple more projects for you today as we work our way through all of the new Papertrey Ink September products, which are now available in the store!
Today's featured sets are Cutaway Tags: Winter and Beautiful Berries: Winter.
My first card uses the Beautiful Berries: Winter card, along with this month's Year of Psalms set. I started by heat embossing the branches with white embossing powder. Then I used some Stormy Sea, Ocean Tides, and Aqua Mist reinkers to watercolor around them.
When the watercoloring was dry, I stamped the berries using Pure Poppy and Scarlet Jewel inks. I also stamped the sentiment with Smokey Shadow ink.
I added some splatters of reinkers, and also some Gold Lame Color Shine splatters.
My next project uses the Cutaway Tags: Winter stamp set and die. I started off by cutting the die from vellum. I used my Zig pens to color it, and also stamped a sentiment and heat embossed it with white.
I decided where I wanted it positioned on my card front to determine placement of the stamping, then pulled it away to stamp each image. I didn't want things to line up, I wanted the vellum to overlay the stamping to create an interesting layered effect.
I added a strip of Holiday Plaid paper along the bottom and some sequins from the Tag Along kit.
Hoping your Monday is off to a great start!
