Happy Thursday! The Papertrey team is back with more post-release projects, plus I have a Throwback Thursday project!
First up, my Throwback Thursday project. On Thursday of each week, we feature an older set. This week's featured set is Tiny Tags. I made this Thanksgiving card using the set, along with my new Beautiful Berries: Autumn set.
I diecut four of the tags and stamped them with the coordinating dotted frame. The small alphabet stamps are from the Pencil Grams set. I used twine to tie them to the Beautiful Berries vine.
The "thanks" sentiment was cut with the Big Basics die. I embossed the background with the Woodgrain Stencil, and sponged some Classic Kraft ink along the bottom.
Now for some post-release projects. Today's product features are the Kind of Corny and Autumn Scarecrow sets. First is a card using Kind of Corny. I started with a Brushed Off: Rectangle diecut, which I sponged with Orange Zest and Terracotta Tile inks.
I stamped a few ears of corn, one with a sentiment and one with the multi-color indian corn. I also added some Autumn Berries underneath, and the bow from the Kind of Corny set.
The card base was made from Rustic White cardstock. I diecut the front panel with the Edgers: To the Point dies, then backed it with a panel of Scarlet Jewel cardstock, which was stenciled with the new Stencil Basics: Dots stencil.
My second card of the day uses the adorable new Autumn Scarecrow. He's so cute! I diecut him from white cardstock, stamped with black, and colored with Copic markers.
I stacked up the pumpkins from the set and made a scene with the Picket Fence die behind it.
A bit of watercoloring in the background adds some fun color.
Thanks so much and have a great day!!
