Good morning! We have a big day of product introductions today for the 2nd day of our August Papertrey Ink countdown! Several of my new products are being introduced today. Let me tell you a little about each...
Kind of Corny stamps and dies...this set is a fun approach to autumn. The set features a pretty cluster of indian corn, as well as individual ears. The multi-step stamps make it easy to create multi-colored corn -- so fun to stamp! The set also include some fun corn-shaped sentiments and as a bonus there's a pretty frame and label, not to mention the bow that can be used on its own, too!
Year of Psalms: August...this month's installment in my year-long series. This month actually has two verses, one from Psalm 65:11 and the other from Psalm 107:1. The first one is perfect for autumn and thanksgiving cards, and the latter is perfect for those, as well as year-round applications.
Brushed Off dies: I showed a project with one of these yesterday, but I didn't give away all of the details! There are actually four different shapes, each has two sizes included in the set -- rectangle, square, circle, and oval. Each shape set will be sold individually.
All of these new products, along with anything else I mention as "new" in today's post will be available for purchase beginning at 10pm ET on August 15th from Papertrey Ink.
I'm excited to share some projects using these new stamps and dies!
My first card uses both the new Kind of Corny and Year of Psalms sets. I started off by diecutting the scroll frame from the Kind of Corny set from kraft cardstock and stamped it with the scrolls from the stamp set.
I stamped one of the sentiments from the Year of Psalms set onto the diecut panel. I also added a corn cluster. These are so fun to stamp! It's fun to play around with different colors for the corn. Here I used Classic Kraft and Cocoa Bean for the husks, Orange Zest and Terracotta for the bow, and Scarlet Jewel, Orange Zest, and Royal Velvet for the corn.
I attached my finished panel to at stitched rectangle, cut from some new patterned papers coming out this month called Bitty Big using the Noted: A2 die. I also cut the card base from kraft cardstock using that same die collection.
My next card uses the individual ears from the Kind of Corny set. I stamped a bunch of them and stacked them all up on a vertical A2 card.
Like I mentioned above, there are several corn-shaped sentiments that can be used instead of the multi-step corn.
My card base is made from Rustic White cardstock, embossed with the Metal Woodgrain Stencil. I set up the steps for the corn in my MISTI, which made it really quick to stamp these all up!
My last card for today uses the Year of Psalms: August set, paired with the Market Street kit. I thought this sentiment was perfect, paired with the cart and pumpkins from the kit!
I stamped the sentiment onto a Mix & Mat: Pined Edge diecut, placed it at the top of my card base, and trimmed off the top.
The cart was cut from the patterned papers from the Market Street kit. The pumpkins were stamped using the stamps in the kit.
