Good morning! Are you ready to kick off the August Papertrey Ink countdown? I love fall crafting and this month's product line-up is filled to the brim with amazing autumn and halloween products!
Today a few of my new products are being introduced! The autumn addition to my seasonal Beautiful Berries series is being released this month, and also being showcased today are this month's Mix & Mat dies. The Mix & Mat: Pinked Edge die collection features a pretty leaf insert, a dotted border, and a pinked-edge frame.
These new products, along with anything else I mention as "new" in today's post will be available for purchase beginning on August 15th at 10pm ET from the Papertrey Ink store.
A few projects for you today using these new supplies...
First up is a card that uses the Beautiful Berries: Autumn set. I also snuck in a sentiment from this month's Year of Psalms set. I used the berry vine to create an arbor over a picket fence.
The berries are actually bittersweet, so I stamped them in traditional colors. I used three vines to make my arbor. The fence was cut using the Picket Fence die.
The sentiment was stamped by inking it up with Orange Zest and Terracotta Tile inks.
Up next is a bit simpler card using the same colors, but this time I used the two smaller berry clusters from the Beautiful Berries set. I also used a new die that I have coming this month called Brushed Off: Rectangle. It's very similar to the stencil that's in the Herb Garden kit. You'll be seeing and hearing more about them as the release goes along.
I sponged the rectangle and my card base with some Aqua Mist ink near the top. The sentiment is also from the Year of Psalms set coming out this month (yes, two verses in this month's set!).
I embellished the corners with a few of the small berry clusters, stamped in traditional bittersweet colors.
My last project is a set of super simple, yet really elegant cards using the new Mix & Mat: Pinked Edge dies. I used just the dotted border and the leaf insert to cut the design from the front of a Rustic White card base.
I lined the inside of each with some metallic cardstock. So pretty and simple!
At the bottom of each cut-out I stamped a "thankful & blessed" sentiment from the new Keep It Simple: Blessed set, also coming out this month.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I'll be back tomorrow with more autumn goodness!
