Good morning! It's time to kick off the May Papertrey Ink countdown! I don't have any products being introduced today, but I couldn't go without posting at least a little something to tease you!
I just have one quick project for you today...a card using this month's Year of Psalms set, which features Psalm 18:2, one of my favorites. I paired it with this month's Mix & Mat die set, called Mix & Mat: Herringbone.
I started with a Mix & Mat diecut, which I used just the outer frame and stitched frame from the set to create a solid panel that I could do some stamping and watercoloring. I stamped the mountains from the Warmest Wishes set along the bottom, then used some reinkers to watercolor it. I stamped the sentiment over the top in black ink. I diecut the corner pieces, also from the new Mix & Mat die collection, from True Black cardstock and added them to the corners. The card base was made from kraft cardstock, embossed with the woodgrain metal stencil. A great masculine card for those hard to make for guys.
Thanks for stopping by! There's so much more to show you this month - it's going to be another fun one! See you back here tomorrow.
