I have a fun card for you today using Kay Miller's recently released Flower Mandalas II dies released by Papertrey Ink. These dies are so fun to play around with...fun to see the design emerge as you layer all of the bits and pieces!
I diecut all of the pieces from watercolor paper, then used re-inkers to add color.
I wanted to create a pretty background for the mandala, but something that wouldn't over-power. So I did a bit of watercoloring and stamped some subtle, small flowers using the Bloom & Grow stamps. I embossed the stitched rectangle from the Noted: A2 vertical set by running it through my machine with the embossing mats.
The "happy birthday" sentiment is from the newly released Initial Birthday set.
Isn't this new die set just fun! I love the layered effect.
Thanks so much for stopping by - I'll be back tomorrow!
