Pedal Pusher Revisted...

Today the Papertrey Ink Sr Team is back for another revisit.  Each month on the 1st, we pull out an older set and bring you some fresh inspiration.  This month's feature is Pedal Pusher.  What a cute set...who doesn't like a fun bicycle to stamp in any color you'd like, along with a basket that can be filled with all sorts of adorable accessories?

I have two new projects today using this set.  The first one is super simple, and uses one of the background papers from the Petite Places patterned paper collection for a quick and easy card.

Pedal-1

All I did was diecut the bicycle and flower basket, stamp, and adhere to the paper with some foam adhesive, and then trimmed off a bit of the bicycle.  I stamped the "life is a beautiful ride" sentiment, also from Pedal Pusher, and added a few flower sequins.  I also added a scalloped border, diecut from white cardstock.  The whole works was put on a Berry Sorbet card base.

My second card again uses the bicycle from Pedal Pusher as my focal point.  This time I added it to a background of watercolor paper brushed with a bit of Raspberry Fizz re-inker, and covered with the floral Cover Plate from the Garden Gild kit.

Pedal-4

This time I stamped the bike in Mint Julep ink.  Who wouldn't want a mint bike?  So cute a retro looking.  The "happy birthday" stamped sentiment is from Pedal Pushes, while the diecut "enjoy" is from the Still Life: Summer kit.  I added a cluster of flowers around the back tire.  These were made using a combination of images and diecuts from the Garden Gild kit and the Friendly Flower set.

Right now riding cute bikes through pretty flowers is just a dream, as we're under a blizzard watch...but we know the promise of spring is just around the corner!  I hope you enjoyed today's projects.  If you'd like to see more fresh inspiration for the cute Pedal Pusher set, be sure to hop around to the other DT blogs...
