Well, we've come to the end of another Papertrey Ink countdown! And this in one of the busiest months of the year...I hope you're finding some time to enjoy the holiday season and all of the special things this season holds.
I'm popping in today to share the remainder of my December release projects.
All of the new December stamps, dies, papers, etc, will be available for purchase from PapertreyInk.com beginning tonight at 10pm EST...happy shopping!
Let me show you my projects using some of the new December stamps and dies...
First is a card using Heather's new XOXO set and dies along with the skunk and raccoon from the Valentine Pin-Ups kit. I started off with a panel of the big XO paper from the Black & White All Over paper pad, which is the perfect thing to go along with this set! I stamped the "you are my" and "forever" sentiments onto linen cardstock and trimmed them into banners. Between them I added a "valentine" diecut word, cut from the XOXO dies and sponged it with some Lovely Lady ink. The "i" was dotted with a tiny heart which was cut with the confetti heart die in the Shakers & Sprinkles kit.
To add a little cuteness I diecut the skunk and raccoon from the Valentine Pin-Ups kit and used their heads, tails, and a paw for each to hug a heart, which were cut using the heart die in the XOXO die set. Black and white and pink...so fun for Valentine's day.

Next up is a card using Dawn's latest Enclosed set -- Enclosed Heart. It's perfect for weddings, anniversaries, and Valentine's Day. I started my card by watercoloring a panel of watercolor paper with Simply Chartreuse, Hawaiian Shores, and Enchanted Evening inks. I layered the Enclosed: Heart diecuts over the top, embellished with a couple of the small flower clusters from the set.
Along the edge is a strip of Ombre patterned paper.
The inside has a bit more watercoloring, using the same colors as the outside, and I also stamped a sentiment from the new Tucked In: Wedding set, stamped in Enchanted Evening ink.

Next is a cheery thank you card made using Maile's new Fresh Floral Wrap-Ups set. This set is so cute...fun and happy and I love the fonts used on the sentiments! I created three bouquets by diecutting the wrap from some different patterned papers and topping them off with bouquets stamped in coordinating colors. On each wrap I punched a small partial circle and tied some black & white baker's twine around each.
For the background, I started with the sketched frame paper from the Black & White All Over paper pad and trimmed a rectangle of woodgrain paper to fit inside (sorry, drawing a blank on the collection this paper came from - it's not PTI). I stamped the sentiment in the lower right corner using True Black ink.

I have one more You're a Gem card that I didn't get around to sharing the other day as well. This one uses the Cover Plate: Gem Stone die along with lots of the You're a Gem open dies clustered around the opening of the Cover Plate.
The sentiment is from the You're a Gem set. I scattered a few rhinestones in there which were clear and I just added some color using my Copics. Just a fun and happy card!

Last one for the release uses a stamp set and dies called One Big Happy, which will be included as a freebie!! Limit one per customer. Check out Nichole's blog for all the details. It has some cute blooms, leaves, and sentiments.
For my card using this set, I started of by watercoloring some watercolor papers in lots of different colors. Once they were dry I diecut them using the One Big Happy flowers dies, then stamped on them using the coordinating stamps. I added the diecut "happy", which was cut from True Black cardstock, and stamped the "birthday" sentiment, also from the set, using True Black ink.
