It's been a bit quiet here on my blog! We're busy adjusting to the summer schedule...kids home all day, pool time, baseball games...all of those fun summer things that make life super busy! But I'm here today to help kick off the June Papertrey Ink countdown. Today I'm showcasing projects using a new stamp set called No Strings Attached...it's a cute set that lets you create the look of wrapped twine and bows, all with stamps instead. Super cute for flat, mailable cards.
This new set will be available for purchase from the Papertrey Ink website on June 15th at 10pm EST. Let me show you a few projects I came up with using this new set.
First off is a birthday ensemble.
For the card I trimmed a square of white cardstock and stamped it with one of the dots in the Polka Dot Basics III set to create a "gift". I stamped the strings and bow from the new No Strings Attached set.
The tag is also from the No Strings Attached set. The sentiment I stamped inside the tag is from a new set also being released this month called Monthly Moments: Tabbed. The tag can be stamped directly on your project, or it's easy to hand cut and layer like I did here. The "happy" is a new die in a set of word dies being released this month called Wet Paint Cuts (they won't fit the large words in the Wet Paint stamp set, but are meant to work alongside them so you can use the word stamp OR the word die).
I created a quick and easy coordinating wrap, which would be great for a gift card or other small treat. I used the Pillow Box die and stamped the No Strings Attached strings and bow. This time I stamped the tag directly onto my project. Notice the shadow? That's a separate little stamp that makes it so realistic looking! The small "to:" and "from:" are from No Strings Attached as well.

My next project uses No Strings Attached to stamp several rows of "string" across the front of my card. This time I used the additional stamp that allows you to create a striped or baker's twine effect.
I accented the centers of the bows with some small flowers from Garden Grace. The tag was stamped directly onto my card base using HIbiscus Burst for the tag, and Soft Stone for the shadow. The "hello" sentiment is from the Four Square set and was heat embossed with white powder. There are lots of different sentiments from various sets that will fit nicely inside the tag from the No Strings Attached set.

My last card today is very clean and simple and would be great for mailing or mass producing since it's nice and flat. I pulled out my Feather Finery set and stamped the smallest feather using Hibiscus Burst and Raspberry Fizz inks. Then I took the coordinating die and used it to emboss around the feather.
Then I stamped the strings and bow from No Strings Attached using True Black Ink. I added the striped details to the string using Fresh Snow ink. The sentiment is from the new set being released this month called Thank You Kindly.
