I'm back today with my final post as the June guest designer for My Favorite Things. I have a few more projects to share with you which were created with the newly released stamps and dies. To see all of the new releases in one place, check out the Brand Spankin' New section of their website.
My first card uses one of the beautiful focal point sentiments from Chalkboard Greetings. I stamped it on Spearmint cardstock using Versamark ink and heat embossed it with white powder. Around the senitment is a frame that I created using the new Die-namics Chalkboard Frame Builder dies. I added a little twist to it though, and created a scalloped frame by diecutting each piece a second time using the scallop border die in the Blueprints 4 die collection.
Along the bottom of the sentiment is a strip that was stamped with the new Washi Patterns stamp set. I really like this particular chevron stamp in the set because you can stamp it in multiple colors. I also added some pretty butterflies around the frame which were stamped and diecut using the new Blissful Butterflies stamp set and coordinating dies.
Up next is another card using the Blissful Butterflies stamps and the Chalkboard Frame Builders dies. This time I built some smaller frames and stamped some Blissful Butterflies inside. i love the perfectly mitered corners - the Chalkboard Frame Builder dies make it so easy!
The frames were stamped using the striped strip from the Washi Patterns set. The sentiment is from Blissful Butterflies and I added a few leaves which are from the Blooming Roses set.
Thanks so much for stopping by to check out the remainder of my projects as guest designer for My Favorite Things. And a special thank you to the team over at My Favorite Things for having me as your guest. It's been fun!
