Pebbles Guest Designer...

Happy Friday!  So glad it's almost the weekend here, how about you?

Something fun today...I was asked to be a guest designer over on the Pebbles Inc blog.  I always love their bright, cheery style.  When you're done reading here, be sure to hop on over to the Pebbles Inc blog and leave a comment for a chance to win a prize package full of Pebbles goodies.

They supplied me with some papers and goodies from their Love You More collection as well as their Basics.  The Love You More collection has a boy version and a girl version.  So I created a card and a scrapbook page from each.  Let me show you.

First off, I found this journaling card that said "Every boy is a super hero sometimes" in their Journaling/Quote card pad and I knew I had the perfect photos to go along with it.

You probably know by my blog name that super heroes are a big deal around here.  :-)

I embellished the top part of the page with their Chipboard Shapes from the Love You More collection and lots of other elements that I cut from the journaling pad.

Next up I used the Love You More boy collection to create a baby card.  I paired a quote card with some cute animal stamps from Papertrey's Sweet Baby set.  There are lots of great elements in the Quote/Journaling pad that are perfect for card makers as well as scrapbookers.  Love that.

Up next are my Love You More girl projects.  First is a scrapbook page.  Again, I was inspired by one of the quote cards in the Girl pad.

I embellished the side of my page with some older (but still super cute!) dimensional circle embellishments I had in my stash. These are from their Hip Hip Hooray collection.

And lastly, a simple card made with one of the quote cards from the Girl pad.

I added some stamped/diecut flowers using Papertrey's Mini Blooms set as well as a little banner at the bottom stamped with a "thanks" sentiment.  The quote card made it super fast and easy - the color scheme and fun typography were already there - I just had to add some accents.

See you back here tomorrow...June 1st, which means it's Papertrey Ink Sr Team challenge time!
