We have come to the end of another Papertrey Ink countdown. The months just seem to fly by, don't they? Today is the big day, when all of the May goodies the team has been showing this week go up for sale in the store. Everything will be up tonight, May 15th at 10pm EST.
I am here today to share the rest of my May projects with you. Not as many this time as sometimes...just three today, so let's get to it.
Let's start things off with a Bang!, shall we? Here's my card using the new Red, White & Blue set.
I stamped the fireworks onto True Black cardstock using Versmark -- starting off by just stamping half of them, (the ones I wanted to be yellow/orange/red), then sprinkled the embossing powders. I started by just dropping a bit of yellow to the center of each stamped firework, shook off the excess, then sprinkled orange, shook off excess, then red -- working outward towards the outer edge of each fireworks image. I then stamped the remaining fireworks, filling in the blank areas on my cardstock and repeated the same embossing powder sprinkle-shake-sprinkle-shake routine, this time using green, blue, and purple powders. I finished it off with a Bang!...litteraly. :-) The letters were cut using the Modern Alphabet dies, the star is from Tremendous Tags, and the sentiment is from the new Red, White & Blue set.

My next card uses an assortment of new sets. The pretty label/frame is from the new Boutique Borders: Baby. I diecut it twice, positioning it scrolled end to scrolled end to create a longer opening. I stamped the frame image twice as well, positioning it inside the diecut window. I discovered that the sentiments from Side By Side Sentiments will fit perfectly inside if you use this method.
I embossed the background using the Cover Plate: Hexagon die. I added lots of pretty florals around the edge using the new Ruby Rose set.

My last card for the May release features Tiny Triangles along with the Cover Plate Triangles die.
I kept it very simple, just white on white with some of the triangles filled in and stamped with Enchanted Evening, Berry Sorbet, and Aqua Mist. I added another sentiment from the Side by Side Sentiments set and accented it with some diecut flowers from Mini Blooms.
