I'm excited to do a little guest designing for Market Street Stamps! I have a project today using their Dream Catcher set...
There are lots of fun, trendy images in this set. My favorite are the feathers and that super cool chevron border. Both of these looks are so trendy right now!
I used these images for my card today...
The two-step feather image makes it perfect for the water color technique I used here. I think the combination of the sentiment and the trendy elements would make this perfect for a teen girl graduation card.
This technique is super easy. Start out with some re-inkers and a scrap of acetate. I used Papertrey's Winter Wisteria, Raspberry Fizz, and Aqua Mist.
Just put a few drops of each re-inker color on the acetate.
Mist it with water and let the colors blend together.
Press the stamp into the ink - I used the solid feather image and stamp onto your project.
Let the image dry (use a heat gun if you're impatient like me), then stamp the coodinating feather outline image using Versamark ink and heat emboss with white powder. If you're creating a background with several images like in my card, do all the watercolor stamping at once, let dry, and do all of the heat embossing at once to speed the process.
Thanks for stopping by today! I'll be designing with another Market Street Set in the next few weeks, so be on the look out for that!

I LOOOOOOOOOOVE the watercolor effect Betsy!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think it's one of my FAVORITES!!!!!!!! VERY PRETTY!!!!!!!!!!! :)

So pretty, Becky - I always learn so much when I visit your blog. You're awesome! So different from me, as I have a firm "No useful information or education on my blog" rule. ;)
