Hey again! Back today with a few more Mama Elephant cards. I absolutely adore the two new sets that I got to create with today! They are both new for the month of January...Smitten and Type It.
My first card uses both sets. The typewriter is from Type It and the You. Me. Oui. sentiment is from Smitten.
I played around a little more with the water color technique I talked about the other day...I felt a little more successful this time around and what you see here was actually my first attempt (unlike last week's watercolor adventure). That cute little sheet of paper stamp is also included in the Type It set. The You Me Oui sentiment (from the Smitten set) is all one stamp, but I used a bit of clear tape/masking to seperate it between the three typwriters. The love you sentiment is from Type it.
My next card uses a few different stamps from the Smitten set. I couldn't resist using that feather again...it's such a fun, trendy image. I paired it here with the "smitten with you" sentiment and some diecuts.
I split the sentiment (again using a little clear scotch tape when inking) and put a diecut arrow pointing down to the rest of the sentiment. I used a brayer to ink the edges of my cardstock.
Thanks for stopping by to check out my Mama Elephant cards! These stamps can be purchased through the Mama Elephant site, or from Simon Says Stamp. Oh, and also, be sure to stop by the Mama Elephant blog to see more projects using this month's new stamps!

How totally cute..
