Well, tonight's the night! All of the new November Papertrey Ink goodies I've been showcasing here this past week will be available for purchase from the Papertrey Ink site as of 10pm EST tonight.
I have five more projects to share with you as we wrap up the countdown festivities.
First off is a card using the new Hanging by a Thread stamp set and the Thread Card dies. I tore some colorful fabric strips to wrap around the thread cards. I embellished each one a bit with felt, pins, twine, etc.
I added a sentiment from the Handmade Hodgepodge set and surrounded it with some of the new Sew Simple Borders stamps. The background patterned paper is from Jillibean Soup's Grandma's Lima Bean collection (the 6x6 pad) -- I haven't been able to put it down this week...it goes so perfectly with all of the sewing goodies being released this month.
Next up is a card that combines the new Comfort Food set with a bunch of older sets to create something that would be perfect to send to a young mom...we all remember those days, don't we? When the kids are sick, the dishes are piled high and we feel like we'll never leave the house again. This would be a fun encouragement card for someone going through one of those times...flu season is approaching and we usually have at least one of these weeks at our house, it seems. :-)
I started by stamping the bottom bowl on each stack, inking the bowl carefully so as to not ink the entire rim. I then worked up the stack of bowls, masking off the previous bowl and being carefull to just ink the edges of the "rim" so it would look like the bowls were stacked topsy turvy. The "don't fret, dearie" sentiment is from Scattered Showers, the fly is the bee from Summer Jar Fillers (when colored black he makes a cute fly), and the fly's "trail" is from Happy Trails, but if you're better with a pen than I am you could definitely hand draw the trail. I cut a square of Poppy gingham paper, trimed the edge with a decorative scissors and folded it to resemble a dish cloth. :-)
Next is a card using the latest set in the Hear-2-Heart lineup. Set #10 in the collection features a couple of cute butterflies. This card was inspired by a pair of jeans that I picked up for my daughter a few weeks back. They have these cute neon butterflies, gems, and decorative stitching.
I started with some denim print paper and heat embossed the butterflies as well as stitching from the Stitches & Swirls set. The sentiment was heat embossed as well and that is from the new Think Big Favorites #22, also being released this month.
Next up is a card using the new Button Up. Again, I combined it with Stitches & Swirls, another set that seems to work so well with so many of this month's sewing themed products. These new button stamps work perfectly with the Buttoned Up #1 die. Such cute patterns.
I clustered a bunch of them in the center and added some accents from Stitches & Swirls. The sentimen I used here is from the new Framed Out #10.
Speaking of Framed Out #10, I have one more card that uses the new frame from that set as well as one of the sentiment stamps from the new Sentiment Signs set. I inked up the "thanks" themed stamp from Sentiment Signs in a rainbow of ink colors and stamped it repeatedly down the side of my card. I framed one "thanks" using the frame from Framed Out #10 which was stamped in true black onto Smokey Shadow cardrstock.
I added lots of colorful handcut banners along the edge, which were layered over some Soft Stone polka dot paper -- one of the Pattern Pack colors being released this month.
Goodness...that was a lot of info, huh? Complete supply lists are found in the links and thumbnails below.

So can I just say -- I absolutely LOVE your designs?!?!? I swear I say that every time I stop by, but seriously! Your cards always make me smile, whether it be the colors (like the rainbow banner card) or the humor (like the stacked bowls...oh have I had quite a few days like that! lol). Even the denim card, that reminds me of a pair of jeans that my daughter used to have... love them all -- thanks for the inspiration!!

And thank you so much for using the stiches and swirls on one of your cards to day. When all the projects with the sewing theme stamps were being posted this week I was thinking the this stamp set would be perfect to coordinate with the stamps being released this week.

WOW Betsy, all of your work is AMAZING....you show so much inspiration for easy to difficult cards. Some of these I may have to CASE, but I'll have to improvise with the stamps I have. Thanks for sharing all of your work.
