Hello and welcome to my last day of Fancy Pants CHA product shares! Today the new collection Soul Surfer is featured on the Fancy Pants blog. Click on over to check out the amazing summery projects the team created with this new collection.
I created a scrapbook page and a card with this new line. First up is the scrapbook page - these photos were taken of my son on the same trip as the photos from my last post. I love that they are releasing both boyish and girly summer collections.
I was chuckling when I realized that this collection matched my son's swim trunks perfectly...almost like it was made to match. So funny. I used the 12x12 printed transparency from the collection as an overlay over a large photo. It made this layout come together very quickly. I added a couple of other small photos and clusters of embellishments and I was all set!
And a card. This collection is perfect for cards as well. I'm loving the colors and patterns for boy cards especially.
Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Betsy.
I love the birthday card for a boy. I sometimes really struggle to find things to use as my focal points for male cards. Not as easy as using flowers or butterflies for the ladies, because you don't always know what someone's hobbies are or if they particularly like cars or boats!
